Thank you for your interest in Play Piano in a Flash Classes that are being taught at Piano Kraft in Little Rock and in Hot Springs at First Baptist Church. Check out the short video below to get a basic idea of what this class is about. We use Scott “The Piano Guy” Houston’s proven method to teach aspiring piano players to play their favorite songs without having to learn how to read complicated sheet music. Our students have a blast learning how to make great music from their keyboards and pianos.

Scott Houston is a nationally syndicated teacher on Public Television. His Emmy award winning weekly program is seen on AETN every Saturday morning at 10:30am. He has written this course as a grass roots way to teach adults to play. Each book is 8 weeks long, and there are 6 books total. In each class we will show you everything you need to play a song, plus give you 3 or 4 more songs from the "gig book" that you can also play. You will be making music soon.

We have lots of different types of folks who take these classes. Some have never played, some took lessons as a kid, some can play from notes but never learned about chords. We all share a desire to play beautiful songs. Our method is non-traditional as we teach you to play a treble clef (right hand) melody, and chords in your left hand. You are learning to read a "lead sheet"... the way the pros play. In our level one class you will never be expected to play in front of anyone (unless you volunteer). As you move forward to level 2 and beyond you will be asked to play for and learn from your fellow students.

Each book (8 classes) costs $199 and includes 8 weekly classes and all materials. At the bottom of this letter is a list of classes that are now forming and others that are already meeting.
