Jim McGehee began in the piano business in Aarhus, Denmark in 1978 as a concert tuner and technician. He moved to Copenhagen in 1980 as the concert technician for the Royal Danish Opera, the Royal Danish Orchestra as well as the Royal Danish Music Conservatory. During this time, he received training at the Steinway & Sons London workshop at Park Royal under the tutelage of Mr. Peter Salisbury. During his time in Denmark, he owned one of the most productive rebuilding shops in Scandinavia, rebuilding old Steinways for major institutions as well as for private customers. In 1999, he returned to his home town of Little Rock to open Piano Kraft, a piano store dedicated to offering the finest quality pianos with unsurpassed after sales service. |

Richard Deutsch comes to us from Dallas where he has 20 years experience in retail sales and piano service consulting. Richard has over 10 years of wholesale buying experience for one of the largest dealers in the U.S. which helps us bring the lowest possible prices to the market. He has also spent years working with higher education and music learning facilities to help promote the musical arts. Richard's extensive knowledge in manufacturing and design of pianos brings to Piano Kraft a welcome wealth of expertise. |
